Low crowds in anticipation of the England v Ecuador game didn’t spoil a great event and some of the girls danced in England shirts to add to the build up to the match. We would also like to thank The Grey Horse public house for the hospitality given for those that wanted to stay behind and watch the England match.

Despite a near 10 hour round trip a great day was had by the members of the troupe that were able to make the journey. Havercroft Silver Stars would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome we received whilst attending this event.

A special thank you must also go to Jo, Tracey, Christine and Sallie for volunteering to drive such a large distance. Thank you ladies, without you it would not have even happened.

A massive thank you to Lakeside Village Doncaster for giving us the opportunity to raise some funds by putting on a show for the Christmas shoppers in the retail park.

A big thank you to Junction 32 Castleford for letting us put a show on today and for giving us the chance to raise some funds. Thank you also to all the shops in the immediate vicinity for their patience and understanding while we performed our routines.

Well what can i say a great day and some more TV work with the giants from the World Strong Man Cup.

A great day with the surprise of a photo shoot with the strongmen from the World Strong Man Cup, watch out for us on the telly sometime in the future.

Today the troupe did a sponsored baton twirl to raise money to help with the relief efforts needed after the Boxing Day earthquake in Asia. Overall the troupe raised in excess of £1500.
